Can I lock POS mode?
Yes. You can lock POS mode to keep your administration secure when leaving it unattended. Simply set a unique 4–6 digit PIN to restrict access. Only users with the PIN can unlock the POS.
Does POS generate invoices?
Yes. When you create orders using the POS view, Facturaz automatically generates simplified invoices that don’t include client details. These invoices are fully compliant with Verifactu and are securely stored alongside your regular invoices inside Facturaz.
Are EU VAT IDs validated?
Yes. To ensure your intracommunity invoices are fully compliant, Facturaz automatically validates EU VAT IDs. When available, it also auto-fills missing company details such as the registered address and legal business name.
Are NIF's validated?
Yes. Facturaz validates your clients’ NIF numbers to help you stay compliant. If you only enter the NIF, the system can also auto-complete the registered business name for you reducing errors.
What are Projects in Facturaz?
Projects let you track and organize your work for specific clients or tasks. For example, if you bill a client by the hour, you can log your hours under a project as you work. At the end of the period, you can automatically convert all logged time into a single invoice saving you time and ensuring accuracy. You can also export your logged hours for full transparency.
How can AI read my expenses?
Facturaz uses advanced AI technology that intelligently reads and extracts data from the invoices and receipts you upload. It automatically fills in the correct fields so your expenses are stored and reported accurately inside Facturaz. Your data is processed securely and never shared with anyone.
What are amortizable expenses?
Amortizable expenses are costs that can’t be fully deducted immediately because they provide value over several years. For example, an office chair or a computer is used for more than one year, so its cost must be spread out over time. Facturaz automatically applies the correct amortization rules for you.
Can I create recurring invoices?
Yes. With Facturaz, you can easily set up recurring invoices. The system automatically generates and sends them to your clients at your chosen frequency saving you time and ensuring you never miss a billing cycle.
Can I create intracommunity invoices?
Yes. With Facturaz, you can easily create intracommunity invoices. The system automatically applies the correct EU VAT rules and ensures your invoice includes all legally required details.
What do I need to register as autónomo in Spain?
To register as an autónomo in Spain, you’ll need the following:
- DNI (for Spanish citizens) or NIE (for foreigners).
 - Spanish address – required for tax and social security registration.
 - Spanish bank account – used for payments and direct debits related to taxes and social security.
 
You don't have to be resident in Spain.

What happens after 12 months?
After the first year, you keep everything you’ve earned and your clients remain yours. You can continue referring new clients anytime and earn new commissions for each of them.
When and how do I get paid?
Commissions are paid monthly. You’ll receive your earnings directly via PayPal and you’ll be able to track everything in your affiliate dashboard.
How does the affiliate link work?
Once you join, you’ll receive your personal referral link. Share it with your clients or audience and when they sign up through your link, they’re automatically connected to your account.
How much can I earn?
You’ll earn 50% commission on every new customer’s subscription for up to 12 months. That equals €22 per client per month when they stay active during the first year.

Can I get a digital certificate without a Facturaz subscription?

How much does a digital certificate cost?
You can request an official digital certificate directly through our platform for just €84 + IVA.
Can I use the same certificate on different devices?
Yes. You can export and install it on multiple devices (computer, tablet, or phone). Make sure you keep a secure backup.
Is the digital certificate the same as Cl@ve PIN?
No. Cl@ve PIN is a temporary code you receive on your phone. A digital certificate is more secure, valid for several years and required for many official procedures.
How long is the digital certificate valid?
The digital certificate is valid for 2 years and can be renewed online before it expires.
What is a digital certificte?
A digital certificate is a secure electronic file issued by an official authority. It serves as your official digital version of a DNI or NIE, allowing you to prove your identity online.
What are deductible expenses?
Deductible expenses are the business costs you can subtract from your income before tax. These reduce your taxable base, so you only pay IRPF on your actual profit. For example:
- Office rent or coworking space.
 - Utilities, phone and internet (proportionally).
 - Professional software or subscriptions.
 - Travel or vehicle expenses for work.
 - Webhosting and e-mail.
 
What is the non-taxable allowance?
Everyone has a personal allowance that is not taxed.
- Age <65: €5500 per year.
 - Age 65-74: €6700 per year.
 - Age 75 or older: €8100 per year.
 
This allowance reduces your taxable income before applying the tax bands. Additional allowances exist for children, dependents or disability.
When do I pay Social Security?
As an autónomo, you pay Social Security contributions each month. The amount is automatically charged to your Spanish bank account by TGSS on the last working day of the month.
Income Tax (IRPF) Bands
In Spain, personal income tax (IRPF) is split into two components: a state portion and a regional portion determined by your autonomous community. The exact rates vary depending on where you live, but the figures below represent approximate averages across the country.
What is Tarifa Plana?
The Tarifa Plana s a reduced Social Security contribution for new autónomos in Spain. Instead of paying the full contribution, you pay a lower fixed amount during the first year of registration.
- First 12 months: €80 per month.
 - You can extend the discounted rate for another 12 months if your declared net income stays at or below the minimum wage (SMI 2025 = €16.576/year).
 - After that: the cuota increases depending on your declared income.

Do I need an extra accountant or gestor?
No. With Facturaz, you don’t need an additional accountant or gestor. The platform handles your invoicing and bookkeeping, and guides you smoothly through your tax filings.
Can I work outside of Spain?
Yes. You can work with clients anywhere in the world. As long as you spend more than 183 days per year in Spain, you are considered a Spanish tax resident. You can always issue invoices to clients outside of Spain.
What if I want to stop being autónomo?
If you decide to stop your activity, you must officially de-register with both Agencia Tributaria and Social Security. Facturaz can guide you through the deregistration process so you avoid extra charges or future tax obligations.
Do I really need accounting software?
Yes. From July 2026, all autónomos in Spain must use Verifactu-compliant software to register their income. Manual tools like Excel, Word or Canva will no longer be accepted for invoicing.
What are my obligations as autónomo?
Your obligations depend on your activity and income, but most autónomos must file IVA and income tax (IRPF) returns every quarter. With Facturaz, these filings are prepared automatically, so you don’t have to worry about deadlines.
Can I customize the invoice?
Absolutely! Add your logo and pick your favorite theme color to make your invoices match your brand and look more polished.
What is IVA?
IVA is Spain’s VAT. Standard rate 21%, some 10% or 4%. You collect IVA and settle with AEAT quarterly. Facturaz ensures the correct rate and prepares reports.
What is IRPF?
IRPF is Spain’s personal income tax. When autónomos invoice other Spanish businesses or professionals, they often need to withhold 7% or 15% from the invoice. The client then pays that amount directly to AEAT.
How do I send an invoice to foreign customer?
If your customer is in the EU with a valid VAT number, you don’t add IVA. Without a VAT number, you do. Customers outside the EU are usually exempt. Facturaz checks the VAT number and applies the right rule automatically.
What is Verifactu?
From July 2026, all invoices must be sent in the Verifactu format (AEAT system). Facturaz already complies, so your invoices are 100% Verifactu-ready.
What are invoice requirements?
In Spain, an invoice must include: name/company, NIF/NIE, address, invoice number, date, description, prices, taxes (IVA/IRPF) and total. For invoices over €400, also the customer’s VAT/NIE/NIF/passport.
Does Facturaz support intracommunity invoices?
Yes. Facturaz applies the correct VAT rules and creates compliant intracommunity invoices.
How can I upload my expenses?
