Common questions
Everything you need to know about becoming an autónomo with Facturaz.
You'll need your NIE (or DNI if you're Spanish), proof of address and information about your intended business activity. We'll guide you through exactly what's needed based on your situation.
Typically 3-5 business days from when we receive all your documents. In some cases it can be faster, especially if you already have a digital certificate.
While not strictly required for registration, we strongly recommend getting one. It makes managing your taxes much easier. We can help you obtain one as part of the process.
As an autónomo, you'll pay monthly Social Security contributions (around €230-300/month with current discounts for new autónomos starting at €80/month). You'll also need to file quarterly tax returns.
Yes! If you have a valid NIE and the right to work in Spain (EU citizens or those with work permits), you can register as an autónomo. We've helped hundreds of international freelancers get started.
If we haven't started the registration process, we offer a full refund. Once registration has begun, we'll work with you to pause or cancel if your circumstances change.
